Our Mission
Honeybee Literacy, LLC has a mission to ensure that reading is accessible to everyone! We provide comprehensive in-home dyslexia evaluations and telehealth literacy intervention services to aid our families in reaching this goal. Therapy is person-centered and utilizes your child’s interests to keep therapy fun and engaging!

What We Offer
Comprehensive Dyslexia Evaluations
Our evaluations will analyze language and literacy skills to determine strengths and areas for improvement. We assess phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, word reading, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, spelling, and writing skills. We utilize a variety of standardized assessments, detailed case history, and observations to evaluate your child’s literacy skills.
Individualized Literacy Services
Therapy will focus on enhancing literacy skills to improve reading, reading fluency, spelling, writing, and reading comprehension. Clients’ interests are taken into account in order to provide meaningful person-centered care to achieve their goals, as well as enhance their enjoyment of reading. It is typically recommended that treatment sessions take place twice a week to have the greatest effect for change
Telehealth Language and Literacy Intervention
Therapy sessions are conducted in the comfort of your home! This helps to break down the barrier for families unable to drive to a clinic for therapy consistently. It also opens the doors to families not located in the Metro Detroit area. Telehealth can be active and engaging due to the ability to screen share and share control of the mouse via virtual platforms.
